He is also specialized in full-stack development, aviation-specific IT frameworks, and federated cloud-based platforms.

In addition to traditional graphic design, she is skilled in animation, 3D modeling, and game design, with a particular passion for illustration and user interfaces in video games. Today, he channels these skills into designing astronomical and educational experiences, where the sky becomes a shared space for discovery, listening, and dialogue. His role represents a meeting point between science, culture, and human relationships, capable of generating participatory and inclusive environments deeply rooted in a sense of belonging and wonder.

Background: Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor with extensive experience in international research projects in the aviation field. He has coordinated the development of several flight simulators, including the Airbus SAF101, used in the Mediterranean Free Flight project—a research program promoted by Eurocontrol and ENAV—as well as the IFR Trainer, a simulator dedicated to instrument flight training. He also led the development of ONet Workspace, a digital platform used by commercial airlines for fleet and crew management, CAMO monitoring, maintenance, and real-time flight control. His background in electronics, developed within the aeronautical sciences, is complemented by a specialization in the design and integration of complex avionics systems. He possesses specific expertise in high-reliability systems, collaborative digital platforms, and IT tools dedicated to air mobility and pilot training. He is highly skilled in full-stack software development, cloud-based IT infrastructure design, and the management of interconnected data and systems—always with a focus on security, scalability, and interoperability across diverse technologies.

Provides hands-on technical support in the creation of prototypes, working alongside designers, engineers, and craftsmen to translate ideas into tangible solutions. Brings cross-disciplinary expertise in manual fabrication, additive manufacturing, CNC machining, and advanced materials.

Craftsmanship & Prototyping Labs constitute a coordinated network of distributed laboratories designed to provide advanced technical support for design, material experimentation, and the functional prototyping of solutions across diverse application fields such as aerospace, mobility, industrial design, sustainable technologies, and applied research.

Rather than operating as a centralized facility, this system functions as a decentralized and interconnected ecosystem of specialized workshops. Each unit focuses on distinct competencies and materials, yet all collaborate seamlessly to cover the full development cycle—from conceptual modeling to physical prototyping and final technical validation.

This network has grown out of over thirty years of cooperation with selected master artisans, experienced technicians, and highly trained young apprentices, forming a synergistic production system that merges traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies.

Within the Craftsmanship & Prototyping Labs, several complementary operational units are active:

  • Structural prototyping workshops, dedicated to manual and semi-mechanical processing of engineered wood, composite resins, natural fibers, and stratified materials—ideal for building mock-ups, lightweight structures, ergonomic geometries, and customized installations.

  • Advanced materials workshops, focused on transforming carbon fiber, fiberglass, aramid, titanium, and aerospace-grade aluminum, equipped for lamination, cutting, finishing, and surface treatment.

  • Additive manufacturing units, offering professional 3D printing (FDM, SLA, SLS, composite materials) for producing technical prototypes, functional parts, complex enclosures, and ultra-light structures.

  • CNC machining units, equipped with high-precision lathes, mills, and multi-axis machining centers (3 and 5-axis), suitable for the subtractive manufacturing of metals, technical plastics, and layered composites.

  • Finishing and post-processing areas, for painting, sanding, anodizing, and applying aesthetic or functional surface treatments to finalize and enhance the prototypes.

All labs are interconnected through a shared digital infrastructure based on CAD/CAM systems and parametric modeling. This setup enables collaborative design and the seamless transition from digital models to machine production, ensuring traceability, design coherence, and execution quality.

Beyond their technical function, the Craftsmanship & Prototyping Labs serve as spaces for training and experimentation. They host technical workshops, experiential learning programs, new-generation artisanal training, and technology transfer initiatives bridging research and industry.

Thanks to their smart distribution and integration of specialized skills, these labs offer exceptional operational flexibility, making it possible to develop tailor-made, high-tech, and high-construction-value projects quickly and reliably. At the same time, they retain the human, tangible dimension of handcrafted production.

As a whole, they form an open production ecosystem where tradition, innovation, and a culture of making converge to create tangible, sustainable, and replicable solutions.

Lab for Social Design

Transnational Research Collective for Cooperative Macroeconomics

An interdisciplinary group of European and North American researchers exploring, through computational models and artificial intelligence, new paradigms of economic governance based on cooperation. They work in a distributed environment using the ONet Workspace platform to simulate alternative macroeconomic scenarios and co-design institutional systems that are more equitable, resilient, and sustainable.

Lab for Social Design
The Lab for Social Design is an advanced simulation environment created to explore and test new forms of macroeconomic management and alternative political-organizational models based on the paradigm of cooperation and distributed, inclusive, and adaptive logics. It functions as a high-complexity experimental research space that integrates artificial intelligence, dynamic computational models, and systemic simulation tools to investigate future economic, social, and institutional scenarios.

At the core of the lab’s work is the belief that current governance, planning, and resource allocation structures are inadequate to address the complexity and interdependence of contemporary global systems. For this reason, the Lab for Social Design experiments with emerging economic architectures such as decentralized cooperation networks, circular economy, automated resource redistribution, mutual credit, and nonlinear value exchange, with a particular focus on long-term social and environmental impact.

The working group consists of researchers and analysts from various European and North American countries, united by strong expertise in political science, macroeconomics, complex systems theory, and computational ethics. These professionals operate in a distributed and coordinated manner, leveraging the capabilities of the ONet Workspace platform—a collaborative digital infrastructure integrating conversational, predictive, and generative AI modules applied to political scenario analysis, collective economic behavior simulation, and co-design of adaptive institutional structures.

The laboratory is distinguished by its use of AI-based multi-agent models capable of replicating and evolving over time the behavior of virtual populations, territorial economic networks, governance mechanisms, exchange dynamics, and incentive systems. These models are calibrated using real and historical data as well as theoretical hypotheses and tested in highly variable simulated environments to assess the resilience of cooperative systems against external shocks, distributional imbalances, or structural changes.

The Lab for Social Design goes beyond theoretical inquiry, with a strong applied vocation: it produces guidelines, experimental regulatory frameworks, policy design tools, and hybrid governance models aimed at local communities, networks of public entities, nonprofit organizations, business consortia, and new forms of cooperative citizenship.

Overall, the lab represents a convergence point between advanced political thought, systemic economics, and intelligent technology, offering a platform where researchers, activists, public decision-makers, and social innovators can engage, simulate, learn, and co-design new sustainable modes of coexistence. Its activities aim to move beyond competition and scarcity logic, promoting models of living based on collaboration, algorithmic transparency, and dynamic value redistribution.
