His professional activity focuses on strategic consulting and predictive analysis of tourist flows, providing customized solutions to tour operators, airlines, airports, and regional development agencies.

Through his operational companies — IDEA GROUP KFT, based in Budapest, and UMAIR S.r.l., an innovative startup based in Modena — he develops and implements integrated business models where data technology merges with the practical operations of the tourism and aviation sectors.

Data, Technology, and Market: The Driving Force Behind UMAIR

UMAIR’s vision stems from a clear realization: the true competitive advantage in modern tourism is not just the product, but the deep knowledge of data.
Thanks to a partnership with a software house specialized in aviation (flight planning, avionics, operational management), UMAIR has designed a proprietary predictive analytics platform for tourist flows, capable of processing vast volumes of data and delivering high-impact strategic insights.

Through artificial intelligence and automatic correlation of data sources, the platform enables to:

  • Forecast the expected profitability of a destination or route in advance;

  • Identify markets to target for commercial investments;

  • Tailor marketing messages based on customer behavior, origin, and potential spending;

  • Reliably predict seasonal tourism flow trends, segmented by purpose (tourism, business, study, others).

A Data-Driven Tour Operator

More than analysis, UMAIR also acts as a direct operator, developing and marketing complete travel packages scientifically built and based on economic optimization principles.

We acquire hotel facilities on a “buy-out” basis, organize transfers using ACMI aircraft (full leasing with crew and services), and offer meticulously curated tourist experiences.
The packages are resold through a selected network of travel agencies, with a flexible and scalable model.

Moreover, leveraging sector knowledge and an extensive international network, UMAIR operates as an aviation broker, managing the sourcing, leasing, and mediation of whole or partial aircraft, supporting tour operators, charter companies, and airlines. The service also includes strategic positioning and operational and commercial consulting.

Performance-Based Digital Marketing: Results as the Sole Metric

Marketing is never left to chance. UMAIR collaborates with a partner company specialized in digital marketing, adopting a “performance-based” approach: compensation is directly linked to concrete results in sales and conversions.
This ensures total alignment between data analysis, communication strategy, and economic return.

Target Market: High-Margin European Flows

The target market focuses on inbound and outbound tourism flows from Northern Europe, especially in off-peak periods (March–June and September–December), which are the most strategic windows for package profitability and the sustainability of the Italian tourism system.

The dual objective is to:

  • Offer authentic, accessible experiences well distributed over time;

  • Optimize operational and accommodation capacity during less busy periods, generating positive impacts for local operators and territories.

The UMAIR Platform: Advanced Functions and Real Use Cases

UMAIR’s technological infrastructure generates usable and actionable data, organized into eight main modules:

  • Tourist movements by period: Registered presences in a specific area, by nationality and timeframe.

  • Predominant city of origin: Dynamic ranking of the most active departure cities per country.

  • Average length of stay: Analysis of the number of days tourists spend at destinations.

  • Arrival and departure preferences: Cross-analysis of mobility, transport, and behavioral habits.

  • Average spending by category: Daily expenditure analysis by major items such as accommodation, dining, shopping, and entertainment.

  • Movement map: Detection of secondary flows between locations and internal attractions.

  • Segmentation by travel profile: Traveler type (tourism, business, study), with advanced filtering options.

  • Flow forecasts for the upcoming season: Quantitative and qualitative estimates by markets, periods, routes, and destinations.

A Systemic Vision for a New Generation of Operators

The UMAIR project represents a new generation of tourism and aviation operators, capable of combining advanced analytics, strategic intelligence, and concrete operational execution.
The future lies not only in numbers but in the ability to transform them into fast, coordinated, and sustainable decisions.
